d-Limonene is a very effective, naturallyoccurring, biodegradable solvent anddegreaser, extracted from the peel oforanges. It is 100% natural, environmentallyfriendly, and non-toxic. Due to its attractivecitrus aroma, versatility, and GenerallyRecognized As Safe (GRAS) by the FDA, d-Limonene can be used safely andeffectively in a wide range of products.
Florida Chemical has two main grades of d-Limonene: technical grade and food grade.Technical grade d-Limonene is greater than94% pure and has a strong orange aroma. Food grade d-Limonene is greater than 95%pure and has a mild orange aroma.
Cold Pressed Orange Oil is a food gradeproduct that is used in the flavor andfragrance industry. This oil is an ingredientin fruit flavors and floral perfume blends.Cold Pressed Orange Oil contains over 90%d-Limonene. It is a common additive to manyproducts requiring citrus fragrance becauseof the sweet and fresh notes of the product.
Citrus Burst® 1 is a concentrated blend of d-Limonene, citrus components, andsurfactant. It is ideally suited for generalpurpose cleaners and degreasers, and it canbe diluted with water to make stable, milky-white emulsions. It can also be used toformulate multiple household and industrialcleaning products and blends well with otheringredients to make more complex productformulations.
Citrus Burst® 2 is a concentrated blend of d-Limonene, citrus components, andsurfactant. It has a high concentration of d-Limonene, making it better for applicationsrequiring more solvent cleaning power. CitrusBurst® 2 is ideal for cleaning applicationswhere a water rinse is required. Citrus Burst®
2 can be diluted with water at time of use orblended with other solvents to fine tune theformulation.
Citrus Burst® 3 is a one-step answer forformulating clear industrial and householdcleaners with high concentrations of water.The concentrated formulation is made withthe latest plant-based surfactant technology.Products made with Citrus Burst® 3 can betinted to any color. The product can be usedas a starter or base to make a wide varietyof household or industrial products.
Citrus Burst® 7 is a patented formulation of d-Limonene and natural, plant-derived esters.This product has high solvency and can beused for heavy-duty degreasing andindustrial cleaning applications. It dries withlittle residue or can be rinsed with water. Allcomponents in Citrus Burst® 7 are GenerallyRecognized As Safe (GRAS) by the FDA.
Citrus Burst® 8 is a unique blend ofvegetable esters, citrus terpenes, andsurfactants. With its high flash point(>142°), it is ideal for parts cleaning andheavy degreasing applications. The productis very effective at removing crude oil, tar,and asphalt. It can be rinsed with water ordiluted at the time of use to make a timerelease macroemulsion.
Citrus Burst® 100 is an industrial cleaner anddegreaser made with plant-based solventsformulated with low VOC technology. Thisproduct penetrates heavy grease, oil,petroleum oil and can be diluted fordegreasing, steam cleaning, and powerwashing. Its high flash point (201°F) makesthe formula safe for parts cleaners. Thisproduct is certified as a Clean Air Solvent bythe South Coast Air Quality ManagementDistrict.
CITRUSoy® High Flash is a combination of d-Limonene and soy methyl ester with aflash point greater than 140°F, making itideal for parts washing and generaldegreasing applications requiring a non-flammable solvent.
CITRUSoy® Super High Flash is a solventbased on soy methyl ester with a light citrusfragrance. It is ideal for applicationsrequiring a flash point greater than 200°F. Itis a slow evaporating solvent with excellentpenetrating characteristics. This product hasbeen awarded Design for the Environmentrecognition by the US-EPA.

Florida Chemical also offers surfactants,such as E-Z-Mulse®. E-Z-Mulse®. is aproprietary surfactant package to emulsifyd-Limonene, orange oil, and other terpenesin water. Other custom surfactants areavailable that are designed to addressspecific environmental and productperformance requirements.
