Typically used under metal roof structures in conjunction with Sisalation® foil products to provide thermal and acoustic comfort and condensation control. AS/NZS 4859.1 compliant.
A flexible and resilient glasswool building blanket manufactured in 300mm wide strips that roll out under a tiled roof and fit snugly between tile battens to provide effective thermal insulation.
A closed cell foam product providing a thermal break (minimum R0.2 requirement) for roof or wall cladding steel frames to reduce thermal bridging and conductivity.
Available plain or with a variety of foil facings. The products provide thermal and acoustic comfort, while the foil facing acts as a vapour barrier to aid condensation control.
2mm Safety Mesh is used primarily under commercial roofs. Available in standard rolls and cut to length.

COMMERCIAL ROOF ACCESSORIES
DID YOU KNOW?
Fletcher Insulation Roof Rack® Insulation Spacer and DeckMate® Insulation Spacer are your economical solution to comply with the Energy Efficiency Provisions for Commercial Buildings in the Building Code of Australia (BCA) - widely known as Part J. These provisions clearly specify the minimum deemed-to-satisfy levels of insulation required for commercial buildings. The use of either Fletcher Insulation Roof Rack® Insulation Spacer or DeckMate® Insulation Spacer above the glasswool insulation blanket allows for the blanket to recover to its nominal thickness and achieve the total R-values stated in the table below. Australia’s leading metal deck roofing manufacturers have approved the use of Fletcher Insulation Roof Rack® Insulation Spacer and DeckMate® Insulation Spacer with most of their roofing systems.
Deck-Mate® Insulation Spacer are made from high comprehensive strength 300kpa closed cell styrofoam meaning they won’t absorb moisture. Also available in 1250mm long strips.
Patented design Roof Rack® Insulation Spacer is made from high tensile galvanised steel and allows glasswool insulation blanket to recover to its full nominal thickness, to comply with Part J of the BCA. On a metal roof at 0-5° pitch. Purlins may be at various centres.
Deck-Mate® Insulation Spacer
Please contact Fletcher Insulation® or the roofing manufacturer for details. Application: Flat metal roof with no ceiling Permastop® foil faced building blanket installed over purlin support located between metal roof and safety mesh incorporating Roof Rack® Insulation Spacer or DeckMate® Insulation Spacer to allow for blanket recovery to nominal thickness. Metal roof at 0 to 5˚ pitch, purlins may be at various centres. TOTAL R-value (55mm Permastop® Building Blanket with 40mm spacer) = R 1.7 (Winter) R 2.0 (Summer) TOTAL R-value (75mm Permastop® Building Blanket with 50mm spacer) = R 2.2 (Winter) R 2.5 (Summer) TOTAL R-value (100mm Permastop® Building Blanket with 75mm spacer) = R 2.9 (Winter) R 3.2 (Summer)
Application: Flat metal roof with suspended ceiling Permastop® building blanket installed over purlin support located between metal roof and safety mesh incorporating Roof Rack® Insulation Spacer or DeckMate® Insulation Spacer to allow for blanket recovery to nominal thickness. 100mm to 600mm air space below foil assumed to be unventilated. Armafix pipe supports are recommended for hanging and clipping of all pipe work, particularly where thermal bridging may occur. This is important on refrigeration and chilled-water pipes where there is potential for condensation to occur between the pipe and its fixing. In heating installations the use of pipe supports will improve energy efficiency. Armafix pipe supports are constructed from PUR/PIR load-bearing sections, imbedded in Armaflex® iclosed-cell foam insulation. The support is surrounded by two metal shells, preventing compression of the insulation and providing a vapour barrier to the PUR/PIR inserts. Excellent for use on chilled water and refrigerant vessels. Vibration damping on air conditioning equipment. Closed cell elastomeric thermal insulation does not require additional vapour barrier facing. Can be coated to provide UV resistance in external applications. FR/Armaflex® closed-cell foam insulation achieves 0,0,0,3 to AS1530.3
