MUL-TIE ADHESION PROMOTER & TIE-COAT (MID-COAT ADHESION PROMOTER)

Transtar’s Mul-Tie Adhesion Promoter & Tie-Coat greatly enhances the adhesion, appear-ance and durability of virtually all types of finishes, even when applied over difficult types of plastics, such as TPO and polypropylene. Mul-Tie Adhesion Promoter & Tie-Coat can be used under primers on flexible and rigid plastic parts, as a tie-coat between fresh or existing primer and basecoat, and for edging and blend areas. It is excellent for use on fiberglass, SMC, PUR, PC and over properly prepared primers and coatings. Mul-Tie Adhesion Promoter can be used on aluminum and steel as a tie coat for clearcoating these substrates directly. MIR=2.4.

El “ Multi-Tie” de Transtar es un promotor de calidad para mejor adherencia y a su vez sirve como amarre de ca-pas. Le brinda a su vez gran apariencia y durabilidad a todo tipo de terminación sobre cualquier tipo de plásticos, y aquellos tan difíciles como los TPO y Polipropilenos. HYDROFLEx® WATERBORNE PRIMER

Hydroflex® is a flexible, low V.O.C. waterborne primer surfacer, designed for professional refinishing of thermoplastic and thermoset substrates. It provides outstanding hold-out and adhesion. It has fast filling characteristics and sands easily without clogging paper. Hydroflex® can be directly topcoated with alkyd enamels, acrylic enamels, lacquer and acrylic urethane basecoat/clearcoat systems. Note: Hydroflex is temperature sensitive. DO NOT FREEZE. Product must be stored above 45°F (7°C). DO NOT apply material when temperature is below 60°F (15°C).

Plasto-Mend Plastic Repair Non Rigid is an epoxy repair material designed for cosmetic repairs of non rigid parts such as PU (Polyurethane), RIM, TPUR, TPO (Thermoplastic Ole-fins), PP (Polypropylene), and others. Provides maximum adhesion and superior featheredge qualities. It is an excellent choice for bonding backer panels, moldings, emblems and most small plas-tic, metal and aluminum parts. #1458 is specially formulated for most automotive plastics, (including TPO, PP, PE) as well as metal, SMC, and fiberglass. This high strength adhesive is sandable and offers great featheredging characteristics with no pinholing.

This product can be used with all solvent based and water based basecoats. Kwik Finish 2.1 Clearcoat can be buffed in 2 hours at 75°F (24°C). Its fast dry time enables customers to cycle more cars through their shops. With Kwik Finish 2.1 a shop can clearcoat, buff/polish and deliver the vehicle in the same day! This unique product improves production by maximizing vehicle throughput.
