We are excited to announce our keynote speaker is Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood Director, now 100% pro-life. If you are interested in finding your place in our mission, please connect with Paige at 773.794.8807 or [email protected]. SEEKING DONATIONS: We are in need of diapers especially in sizes newborn (NB), 1, 4, 5, and 6, baby wipes, mom and baby hygiene products, current-style/in like-new condition winter maternity and ladies clothes, and gently-used/modern yet modest winter girl and boy sizes 5-6, 7-8, and 10-12 winter clothes. Learning to Pray from The Church Fathers

Prayer is at the heart of the Christian life. In the Gospels, Jesus models prayer for us and in his epistles St. Paul instructed us to “...pray always”. Noted author and patristics scholar, Mike Aquilina together with Executive Director of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology Matthew Leonard will examine what the Fathers of the Church have to teach us about prayer.

Mike Aquilina is author or editor of more than forty books, including The Fathers of the Church, The Mass of the Early Christians, and Angels of God. He has co-authored books with Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington, D.C., Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dion DiMucci, theologian Scott Hahn, and singer-songwriter John Michael Talbot, among others. Matthew Leonard is a Catholic blogger, author, speaker, and former Evangelical missionary who converted to Catholicism in 1998. He is the author of Louder Than Words: The Art of Living as a Catholic, and Prayer Works! Getting a Grip on Catholic Spirituality. He blogs at MatthewSLeonard.com and hosts a podcast on iTunes titled, “The Art of Catholic.”

Together, Matthew Leonard and Mike Aquilina help guide the St. Paul Institute for Biblical Theology founded by Dr. Scott Hahn, as Executive Director and Executive Vice-president/Trustee, respectively.

This is the 6th year of the St. Lambert Patristics Seminar inaugurated by Fr. Richard Simon and Mike Aquilina to make people more aware of the rich tradition inherited from the early Church.
