Process Plant Layout and Design is an important component of the overall operations of a business, both in terms of maximizing the effectiveness of the production process and meeting the needs. A good plant layout can not only reduce capitalized cost but also improve safety of the plant and reduce hazards and environmental impact. Process Plants such as refineries and petrochemical plants are complex facilities consisting of equipment, piping systems, instruments, electrical systems, electronics and control systems. It is a multi disciplinary effort. Plant Layout and Design of piping system constitutes a major part of the design and engineering effort. The basic and prime objective is to design safe and dependable processing facilities in a cost effective manner. This program focus on plant layout design with piping systems, including preliminary sizing and mechanical design of process equipment , equipment configuration , development of plot plans optimization of plant layout , design procedures , applicable regulations codes and standards. “Plant Layout and Piping Design” The workshop is integrated, comprehensive and highly interactive. It combines structures & focused presentations and discussions of topic covered with relevant examples. To maximize learning's, optimal question & answer sessions are in between discussions and also at the end of the sessions and an opportunity for discussing specific design and layout problems they may carry in their experience.     An expert in PDS, AutoCAD, Microstation, Bricscad, SSPIPE-2007 in equipment and piping modeling has over 25

    years of experience in the field and was a principle piping engineer with Foster Wheeler and was a principle piping

    engineer with Worley Parsons, Oman. He has served in inspection integrity and corrosion monitoring contract of

    PDO- Petroleum development of Oman the largest on shore crude oil producer in Oman with major tie-ups on oil

    technology companies like Shell. His responsibilities include Identifying equipments, piping components and

    instruments at site update the existing of P & ID layouts as per site survey. 3D MODELLING OF PIPELINES using in

    house cad package for New and Modification and existing facilities. His core strength is in the area of design pressure

    vessels, storage tanks, Heat Exchangers and Piping selection & sizing. He is a life member of ISHRAE Bangalore

    He is Conversant with codes: ASME sec. viii div.1 ad sec II part-d and ASME B 31.3, API 650,

    API-620, He has already conducted more than 20 corporate trainings in Piping Domain & Software to major companies

    like, L&T Valdel, L&T Engineering, Rolta India, IGCAR, Praxair, etc.

    Presently he is running a Design engineering firm in Bangalore namely VK Design Techniques (India) Pvt. Ltd. providing

    services in Design Engineering Construction, Plant Inspection services for Petrochemicals and Refineries and has

    provided services in the following domain expertise Design & Engineering, Plant Inspection Services, NDT (Non
