For our office in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands we are looking for a Process Engineer eager to contribute to our growth.

Process Engineer

As Process Engineer you will be responsible for executing engineering projects related to design and optimization of Berghof B-SMART water and wastewater treatment systems. In this role you are accountable for preparing and standardizing project documentation. You will participate in project teams, but you will also manage engineering projects yourself, such as engineering packages.

As Process Engineer, you will organize and take part in customer visits related to system start-up and troubleshooting. You will provide technical support to our OEM-partners, end-users and internal departments. You will be leading process optimization based on data collected from our references. In this function, you will perform – among others – the following activities:

Your responsibilities — Providing the most optimal engineering solutions — Continuously optimize processes and improve Berghof B-SMART filtration systems — Delivering world-class support to our customers (remote and on-site) — Manage engineering package projects on time and within given budget — Prepare and standardize technical documentation — Provide technical trainings to Berghof Membranes customers — Must be able to take initiative and work independently

Requirements

We are looking for an independent and driven person with good organizational and communicational skills.

Furthermore, we would like to see in your profile:

— At least 3 years’ experience in the field of process engineering of water and / or wastewater treatment systems, experience with ultrafiltration membrane systems is a pre

— BSc / Master of Science in (Process or Chemical) Engineering (Membrane Technology is a pre) — Ability to manage projects

— Experience working with CAD and AutoCAD software (Autodesk Inventor for 3D mechanical design is a pre) including the ability to read and create the P&ID and PFDs

— Ability to build a good collaboration with both internal- as external departments and teams — Excellent command of English language in word and writing, additional language is a pre — Problem-solving attitude — The ability to work under pressure — Developing processes and best practices to ensure excellent product & service quality — Driving licence
