PrintSpotsTM Hospitality enables your guests to easily
and securely print documents, emails and web content
from their Internet-enabled laptops or wireless handheld
devices to a printer located at your front desk or business
center.

‘Plug and print’ setupOur PrintConnect™ network device eliminates the need
for a PC or an on-site or
remote installation. Simply plug
the PrintConnect™ into the
printer’s network and attach the
PrintValet™ release keypad.
The device confi gures itself. No
software to install. No computer to administer.
Optional setupOur optional deployment requires installation of the
PrinterOn® Print Delivery Software (PDS) on any non-
dedicated, networked PC in the general area of the
networked printer. This software installs on your existing
hardware.
What is Print Delivery Software (PDS)?The core purpose of this software is to navigate the perils of
network fi rewalls. It does not interfere with fi rewall security,
however allows print communication to pass through
unaffected.
www.printspots.com is PrinterOn’s public directory of printers located throughout the world. Hospitality, Wifi Hotspots,
and service-based businesses list their printers in this directory in order to enable secure and controlled access.

Your guests simply <forward> any email message and attachments to the email address of the PrintSpots™ printer at your hotel. A reply email will be sent from PrinterOn® with a private release code that your guest uses at the printer to securely release their print job.
Web-based printing
PrintSpots™ Hospitality provides a branded web page that is easily accessed with any web browser. Your guests surf to your hotel’s PrintSpots™ web page to submit their documents for printing.

Privacy and SecurityPrinterOn® hosts the server for PrintSpotsTM Hospitality.
This secure server performs the document conversion
and intelligent, secure delivery to the target printers at
each location. PrinterOn® software (Print Delivery Station
or PDS) is installed on the PrintConnect™ network
device or on an existing Windows PC and operates
as a background task for commonly needed print
queue and delivery functions. With PrinterOn®, data is
transferred and encrypted using the highest Internet
security standards to ensure privacy and security in every
transaction.
• Web transactions that include user information or print data
are conducted using secure SSL communications.
• Users may enter, or are given, a confi dential print release
code. In unattended environments, such as a self-serve
business center, the documents are held encrypted until the
user enters the code at the printer to release their document.
• Print data in transit is encrypted using 128 bit AES and
standard RSA public/private key pairs, ensuring that
documents can only be decrypted with decryption keys
known by the PrinterOn® software.
