Students can not depend on Key Words to find answers. They must understand the action or
“being” in each problem.
These steps encourage student thinking, using reading skills, and digging into what the question is asking.
The problem format requires that students:
1) draw a visual representation, 2) write an equation, 3) “Convince Me” that their answer is correct.
