A meeting for all graduating seniors will be held in the Auditorium on May 26. A memo will be distributed outlining rehearsals, ticket and cap and grown distribution, parking, dress code, in-debtedness, and other information that will help for a smooth graduation ceremony. INDEBTEDNESS Students must return their books, calculators, or other assigned materials at the time of the final exam. If they do not have the item, a check can be written to William Tennent High School to satisfy the obligation. Additionally, all lab, athletic, library, cafeteria and parking debts must be addressed and paid by Friday, June 10. If you owe any money or materials to William Tennent High School or to the Centennial School District, you will not receive your di-ploma until all debts are settled. This also includes the successful completion of your Gradua-tion Project. Therefore, pay all of your debts and complete the project immediately.

REHEARSALS There will be two rehearsals for the ceremony- on Tuesday, June 14 at 7:30 a.m. and on Wednesday, June 15 at 7:30 a.m. Students must attend both rehearsals, unless you have been excused by Mr. Mulford. Excuses will be granted only for unavoidable conflicts and must be requested by Tuesday, June 7. The rehearsals will end as soon as it is clear that the ceremony has been rehearsed properly. Therefore, it is to everyone’s advantage to cooperate. Caps and gowns will be distributed immediately after the first graduation rehearsal on Tuesday, June 15 as long as your debts have been cleared. DRESS The Commencement Ceremony is a very special and dignified occasion. We all work very hard to make this a memorable experience for our students. Therefore, we do have require-ments for dress. Young women must wear a light-colored dress or skirt/blouse and appropri-ate shoes. In order to avoid damage to the stadium track and field no high heels are permitted flip flops are not permitted, but sandals, dress flats or shoes with a “wedge heel” are accepta-ble. Young men must wear a dress shirt, tie, dark trousers, and shoes (not sneakers.) Participants’ dress will be checked before leaving the assembly area. Those dressed inappropriately will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.

A “Madrigal” Thank You

Shoprite has been a big supporter of William Tennent and the Madrigal Singers. To show their appreciation for all they have done, Ms. Julie Flack and a few of the Madrigal Singers met with Mr. Joe Cowhey, owner of the Warminster Shoprite, to present him with a framed poster of the Madrigals which stated "Thank you for supporting the William Ten-nent High School Music Program". To view the picture, stop by the front of the store.

Trout Quilt Project

The William Tennent Environmental Club has been raising Brook Trout in our Classroom since 2007. Mrs. Tenaglia’s participation in the Trout In the Classroom program was made possible through a unique partnership between PA Fish and Boat Commission and PA Council of Trout Unlimited. This partner-ship, coupled with assistance from Bucks County Trout Unlimited, was created to intro-duce Pennsylvania students to cold water re-sources and their importance to all communi-ties. The partnership also provides brook trout eggs, trout food, technical assistance, curriculum connections and teacher work-shops each year. Last year was the first time we also participated in the national Trout Quilt Project. This year we are making our second quilt. Twenty five schools throughout the country have made squares. Each of us then send our squares to the other school for us to assemble our quilt.

This year for-ty-six senior artists exhibited art work in various mediums. Throughout the second level of the lobby area, the senior artists show-cased their work from the past four years.
