Do you have empty bottles and cans at home that you would like to donate to our Youth Ministry Program? We have an account at Rooper’s on Sabattus Street in Lewiston, and we would love your donations! Just bring your recyclables and tell them you would like the donation to come to us. It’s that easy. “ The reform of the Church begins from the alter! It begins

from the Eucharist, celebrated S the Church asks that it be

celebrated, and adored in the true, real and substantial

Presence in the world of the Risen One! ... How often it

happens that one seeks to love God’s children, while

forgetting first to love God and above all to keep His

Commandments! Holy priests throughout history constantly

remind us that authentic pastoral charity... springs uniquely

from an extraordinarily profound relationship with God.”

“From Eucharistic Adoration to Evangelization.”

Altar Server Festival in Brunswick on August 4 -This is a family event. Altar servers are invited to bring their whole family for the day to spend time with Bishop Deeley, local priests, and other Catholic families from around the state.

The 2PM Sunday Mass is a special Mass for servers. All altar servers in attendance are invited to bring their server robes from their home parishes. During the Mass, servers process in and out together and sit in special pews reserved for them. The Bishop will give a blessing for Altar Servers during the Mass, asking God to watch over them in their important ministry at our parishes.

Server games follow the Mass and are a fun and relaxing mix of activities that engage the servers of all ages. Some games from previous years included vesting drills, candle lighting relay, server trivia, sanctuary hop scotch, and more. Each year is different, and we have some new additions this year, along with old standbys.
