A light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor light

source. LEDs are used as indicator lamps in manydevices and are increasingly used for other lighting.

Introduced as a practical electronic component in

1962 early. LEDs emitted low-intensity red light, but

    modern versions are available across

the visible, ultraviolet, and infraredwavelengths, with

    very high brightness.

What is LED? LED is "Light Emiting Diode

One of the most impressive aspects of LED lights

is that they could potentially last for years upon

years of use. LED claims of 25,000-50,000 hours of

    lifespan .

LED light bulbs though, a 25,000 or more lifespan

means that during that time, the bulb will start

to fade and would emit light that's only around

70 percent of its original brightness.

    LEDs present

    many advantages over

    incandescent light sources

    including lower energy

    consumption, longer lifetime,improved robustness, smaller

    size, and faster switching. LEDs

    powerful enough for room

    lighting are relatively expensive

    and require more precise

    current and heat

    management than compact

    fluorescent lamp sources of

    comparable output.

    Commercial LED Lighting Benefits

    1. Reductions of between 60% and 90% off your currentelectricity lighting bill.

    2. Reduction in annual maintenance costs of between 70% and90%

    3. Low Energy Consumption4. Helping your business to achieve your Carbon Reduction

Commitments5. Improved performance of your lighting with reduced noise

and heat output.6. Potential to secure zero interest funding for the purchase of

our solutions.7. Efficiency: LED light produce more light per watt than

incandescent and halogen bulbs8. Lifespan: LED lights last on average 50,000 hours, that is 5

times as long as the best fluorescent bulbs, and up to 30times longer than halogen bulbs

    9. Shock Resistance: Incandescent and fluorescent bulbs arevery fragile; LED lights are made with solid statecomponents making it difficult to break with external shock.

10.Toxicity: LEDs do not contain mercury, unlike fluorescentlamps.
