Ayurveda, translated as the „knowledge of life“ („Ayus“ = life, „Veda“ = wisdom,)is considered the oldest medical science in the world. The basic principles of Ayurveda are holistic and universally applicable. Against this background, over thousands of years, recommendations for a healthy, long and fulfilling life were developed.

Panchakarma: The Royal Ayurveda Therapy and Parkschlösschen’s royal discipline
The classic Ayurveda cleansing cure, Panchakarma, has been Ayurveda Parkshlösschen’s specialty since 1993. The main purpose of this intensive programme is to activate the self-healing powers of the body and to provide preventive health care. Various cleansing and treatment procedures are so deeply and finely interwoven that their healing power becomes much stronger in combination than when practiced individually. This enormous efficiency accounts for the uniqueness of Panchakarma, the „Royal Therapy of Ayurveda“.
From the experience of our many regular guests we also know that Panchakarma isideally suited for convalescence and regeneration, e.g. in acute fatigue syndrome or after increased stress due to extreme professional or private challenges.
Panchakarma is also traditionally used in the case of:

AYURVEDIC TREATMENTS
Synchronous full-body oil massage, traditionally used for harmonisation and detoxification, empirically promotes relaxation and well-being.

Samvahana is a gentle and harmonising massage which has, according to the Ayurvedic teachings, an exceptio-nally positive effect on the physical and emotional well-being of women. The body is treated using silk, brushes, almond and rose oil.
Samvahana € 175
Whole body luxury oil treatment or „royal oil treatment“. The massage is performed in complete synchrony by two therapists while a constant stream of warm oil is flowingover the entire body. Stimulates the metabolism of skin and organs even more powerfully than other treatments. Through experience we know it has a strong detoxifying and relaxing effect.
Pizzichilli € 260
Similar to Abhyanga, but administered faster and with stronger pressure. Vishesh means „deep massage“ or „connective tissue massage“. Based on experience, Vis-hesh stimulates and revitalises the mind, body and me-tabolism.
Vishesh € 160
Synchronous full-body peeling massage with a paste of oil with grains, herbs, salt or healing clay. Produces intensive metabolic stimulation of cells and organs, as well as of thecirculation. Based on experience, invigorating and detoxi-fying.
Udvartana € 185
This treatment is carried out as a synchronous full-bo-dy massage using cotton bags filled with various herbs, grain, rice or other ingredients. It loosens tension and opens blockages.
Pinda Sveda € 215
Synchronous full-body massage with gloves made of burette silk. Stimulates the circulation and metabolism, from experience advisable in treating cellulitis.
Garshan € 165
What makes synchronous massages special lies in the simultaneous stimulation of both halves of the brain through the synchronous treatment of both halves of the body. As a result, the autonomic nervous system sends relaxation impulses to the cardiovascular and re-spiratory systems and effects blood pressure, digestion and metabolism.
All treatments at the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen are performed by our specially trained Ayurveda thera-pists with much experience and even more dedication. The Ayurvedic oils and herbal supplements used are individually selected. For resting after treatment, there is a private relaxation room with bathroom (according to availability).

Local (partial) massages and oil treatments.
Oil poured onto the forehead. Calms the entire vegeta-tive nervous system. Is perceived as harmonising and balancing, especially while treating neuro-vegetative di-sorders and stress induced symptoms.
SPECIAL TREATMENTS
A foot and leg massage which results in deep relaxation. This massage is ideal for calming down those who are stressed and overworked.

Shirodhara € 110
A head, throat, neck and facial massage. It relieves ten-sion, stimulates the lymph drainage and has a calming effect.
Shiroabhyanga € 110
Therapeutic herbal internal cleansing with purgative or nourishing effect and local organ-specific oil baths with an empirically healing and calming effect through deeply penetrating warmth and special herbs.
Bastis € 85 - 100
Eye bath - local treatment which has proven effective in chronic and acute eye infections, particularly eye irrita-tion and fatigue.
Netra Tarpana € 110
Herbal steam bath. A moist heat treatment in a "sweat- box“. The waste products released by the massage treat-ments are removed by the blood stream and excreted as sweat.
Svedana € 75Local oil treatment for various pains caused by tension. Through experience, also indicated for restlessness, joint pains and lymphatic blockage.
Pitchu € 100
Experience shows, all our Ayurvedic treatments have a deeply penetrating effect and they are traditionally part of an Ayurvedic cure. For this reason, they can be carried out only after a consultation with our Ayurvedic practitioners.
This massage is aimed at optimising or restoring the flow of energy. Specially fine-tuned massage and mobilisation techniques are used, taking the energy paths and the vi-tal points into consideration. Based on experience, very energising and rejuvenating.

Special ear oil bath for tinnitus, ear ache, jaw pains and dryness in the ears.
Karnapurnam € 120
Intensive treatment of the shoulder/neck area and sinu-ses. Has proven effective in treating chronic sinus infec-tions, hay fever, migraine and headaches.

Partial massage with herbal rice bags. Suited for all neu-romuscular disorders, and complaints relating to the neck and lumbar vertebrae.

Yoga is the sister discipline of Ayurveda: It quiets the mind, strengthens the body and helps to harmonize both. In this way, Yoga promotes regeneration and is the perfect complement to our Ayurveda treatments while not overstraining the organism.

Exclusively delicious, diversified and art-fully prepared Ayurveda cuisine is served daily in our Ayurveda restaurant – specially adapted for our Ayurveda programmes and your individual needs (allergies, food-in-tolerances for example). Natural foods, aromatic herbs and the joy of cooking form the foundation of this vegetarian (on request also vegan) cuisine at the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen. Always fresh, finely balanced and easy to digest it relieves the metabolism and pro-vides new energy.
*ATTENTION: We do not offer alcoholic beverages, coffee or black/green tea or use conventional sugar. The cure requires a special nutritional plan, so on some days there
may be no breakfast. On the purgative days you will be served a light soup (1-2 days).

Our 58 non-smoking rooms and suites, are all furnished wherever possible with high quality, pure natural materials and free of disturbing influences through electrosmog and water veins (and include a some allergy friendly rooms). Fresh thermal water flows in drinking quality from all the taps. In every room you also have the possibility of lis-tening to Vedic recitations, Ayurveda Gandharva-Veda-music or guided meditations. In accordance to our „Digital Detox“ culture the whole house is a Wi-Fi-free zone. Our inter-net room is available to you free of charge 24h a day.
