MINK receives a nomination for achievements in Me-dia, Film. Entertainment & Fashion Makeup
MINK has been announced as a finalist in the Best Makeup Artist category at the BEFTTA Awards 2011. The BEFFTA awards celebrates the achievements hard working black and ethnic minority personalities in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts. The winners are chosen by the general public and voting is ex-pected to start on 1st October 2011 with the main red carpet awards night taking place on 22nd of October at the prestigious Light House. MINK is an international makeup brand that specialises in make-up edu-cation, services and products for women of colour. We run an interna-tional make-up school for aspiring make-up artists all over the world, provide make-up artists for the media, entertainment and bridal indus-tries, and produce make-up events aimed at make-up artists and make-up enthusiasts.
MINK believes in empowering women of colour, helping them to build up their self-esteem and making them and the rest of the world see just how beautiful they are. We believe that giving people self-confidence is the most important thing that the company can do, because then they will act. This applies to staff that work at MINK, make-up artist and anybody that comes into contact with the MINK organisation. The MINK brand is synonymous with high quality make-up services for women of colour. As the UKs leading makeup authority for women of col-our is comes as no surprise that the company were chosen to provide the backstage make-up services for the upcoming Africa Fashion Week Lon-don (AFWL) Event.
