RAVE PARTY IN RACHAKONDA HILLS UNDER NARAYANPUR POLICE

STATION BUSTED BY THE SLEUTHS OF SOT RACHAKONDA – (7) ORGANIZERS & (90) PARTICIPANTS INCLUDING PRIVATE & SOFTWARE

EMPLOYEES AND STUDENTS WERE HELD AND ADDICTIVE SUBSTANCES ALONG WITH OTHER ARTICLES WERE SEIZED.

On the night of 11/03/2021, on receipt of credible information, the sleuths of Special Operations Team (SOT) Rachakonda along with Narayanpur Police raided on the farmhouse of one Jakkidi Dhanwanth Reddy, R/o LB Nagar, Hyderabad, located on the outskirts of Gandhinagar thanda under the limits of Narayanpur Police station of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate and apprehended seven organizers namely 1) Girish, 2) Jakkidi Srikar Reddy, 3) Cholleti Sharath Chandra, 4) Shaik Umrfarooq, 5) Jakkidi Dhanwanth Reddy, 6) Balemula Prem and 7) Syed Arman Ali Reza along with (90) students, private & software employees including two girls found participating in the rave party. The Police seized the addictive substances viz., (400) grams of Ganja, (3) blots of LSD, (2) grams of un-known drug, (120) liquor bottles, (3) Laptops, (2) cameras, (76) mobile phones, (15) cars, (30) bikes, (1) Generator mounted vehicle, (3) DJ Music System, Net cash Rs.27,030/-, (21) Entry tickets, Cigarette packets & OCM papers being used for consuming ganja from the place of rave party.

Girish Dhaduvai s/o Pradeep Kumar, age; 29 years, Occ; Paper product Business (Antharathma productions), R/o Plot no.34, Officeres colony, AS Rao Nagar, ECIL, Medchal-Malkajgiri district. 2. Jakkidi Srikar Reddy @ Mani s/o Dhanwanth Reddy, age; 22 years, Occ; B-Tech Student, R/o H.No.3-9-12, Plot No.138, Central Bank colony, LB Nagar, Hyderabad. 3. Cholleti Sharath Chandra s/o Narsimha Chary, Caste; Kamsali, age; 26 years, Occ; Business, R/o Plot No.104, Jyothi enclave, Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad. 4. Shaik Umrfarooq s/o Babu, age; 25 years, Occ; Diploma Mechanical, R/o H.No.1-1-80/33, Mohammadeeya colony, ECIL, Medchal-Malkajgiri district. 5. Jakkidi Dhanwanth Reddy s/o Sathi Reddy, age; 48 years, Occ; Business (Rig vehicles), R/o H.No.3-9-12, Plot No.138, Central Bank colony, LB Nagar, Hyderabad. 6. Balemula Prem s/o Kiran, age; 23 years, Caste; SC (Madiga), Occ; Private employee, R/o Balajinagar, Suryapet. 7. Syed Arman Ali Reza @ Damru s/o Sadia Dehlvi, age; 28 years, Occ; In charge of Damru DJ troop, R/o C-32, C-Block, Nizamuddin east, Delhi.

And (90) participants i.e. students, private & software employees including two women. SEIZED MATERIAL: 1. (400) grams of Ganja. 2. (3) blots of LSD, 3. (2) grams of un-known drug, 4. (120) liquor bottles, 5. (3) Laptops, 6. (2) cameras, 7. (76) mobile phones, 8. (15) cars, 9. (30) bikes, 10. (1) Generator mounted vehicle, 11. (3) DJ Music Systems, 12. Net cash Rs.27,030/-, 13. (21) Entry tickets, 14. Cigarette packets & OCM papers (being used for ganja consumption) BRIEF FACTS: The A-1 Girish Dhaduvai, A-2 Jakkidi Srikar Reddy @ Mani, A-3 Cholleti Sharath Chandra and A-4 Shaik Umrfarooq are close friends and all the four accused persons had planned for earning easy money by conducting a rave party with the interested people. The A-5 Jakkidi Dhanwanth Reddy who is the father of A-2 Srikar Reddy has a farmhouse on the outskirts of Gandhinagar thanda located in Rachakonda hills under the limits of Narayanpur Police station of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate. Since the farmhouse of A-5 is located in a remote area, the A-1 to A-4 felt that the farmhouse is suitable for conducting the rave party. Accordingly, when they approached the A-5 Dhanwanth Reddy, he too knowingly agreed for it with an intention to get rental charges for allowing the A-1 to A-4 for conducting the rave party. According to their plan, the A-1 to A-4 designed a poster containing the details of proposed rave party in the office of A-1 Girish who has been running paper Product Company styled as Antharathma productions at ECIL, Kushaiguda. Then, the A-1 has posted the same in his instagram account which facilitated to all the interested people. In the poster designed by the A-1 to A-4, they clearly mentioned that entry fee for the proposed event is Rs.499/- excluding food, drink and other addictive substances. In order to attract the customers, the organizers had also provided liquor, addictive substances like Ganja, LSD etc. The A-6 Balemula Prem has provided the addictive substance for this rave party. Apart from it, the A-1 to A-4 also engaged the A-7 Syed Amran Ali reza belongs to Delhi who arranged the DJ troop with (3) latest DJ Music systems. For this event, the organizers A-1 to A-4 also engaged the bouncers and posted them at the entry point of the rave party. Actually, the police had kept proper surveillance over such illegal activities. Upon that, with a view to divert the attention of Police, the organizers planned to conduct such illegal activities on particular days coinciding with important festivals like

Mahashivarathri, Durga pooja and Urs celebrations etc., because as many as police will be on duty on those occasions. Likewise, yesterday i.e. on 11.03.2021 on the occasion of Mahashivarathri festival, the organizers A-1 to A-4 have conducted the rave party illegally at the farmhouse of the A-1 located in a remote area under the limits of Gandhinagar thanda under Rachakonda hills under Narayanpur PS with the help of A-5 to A-7. On noticing about this illegal rave party, nearly (100) people from Hyderabad City and its surrounding areas consisting of students, private & software employees including two women purchased the tickets and participated in the above illegal event. But, on the night of 11.03.2021, while the rave party was going on, the Police party raided on the farmhouse and apprehended the organizers and all participants of the rave party and seized the property as noted above from the possession and instance of the accused. (7) Organizers arrested under NDPS Act & other sections will be taken on police remand to find out other links. Other participants are booked under section 188 & 294 I.P.C. are being produced before the Honourable Magistrate. It is reliably learnt that organizers have arranged similar party few months back at Laknavaram of Warangal district. C.P. Rachakonda has warned party goers, youth for not to indulge in such illegal activities & spoil their future. Parents have lot of expectations from wards. C.P. has also caut9ioned parents to keep a watch on children. Advertising of this event was done through Instagram social media page with handle “Psydamru”. Based on specific information to C.P. Rachakonda directly this raid was conducted. C.P. Rachakonda has also instructed to SHO Narayanpur to send proposals to M.R.O/RDO Choutuppal under 133 Cr.P.C. for closure of the place where illegal activities conducted. Sathaiah, ACP Choutuppal, Sri N.Srinivas, CI of Police Choutuppal, Sri Ch.Sudhakar Rao, SI of Police Narayanpur, Sri P.Venkateshwarlu, Inspector of Police SOT Bhongir Zone, Sri Naveen, Inspector of Police, SOT Malkajgiri, Sri Mandadha Kumar, SI of Police, Sri Sathyanarayana, SI of Police, Sri Avinash babu, SI of Police and staff of Special Operations Team.
