APATEQ receives Start-up Europe Award from the European Commission • The European Commission along with Finnova Foundation announced the winners of the

annual Start-up Europe Awards (SEUA) and APATEQ was awarded with an extraordinary distinction.

• Clean-tech company APATEQ was honoured for its green and compact water and wastewater treatment systems.

• The award ceremony took place at the European Parliament in Brussels in presence of Antonio Tajani, President of the European Parliament, and Carlos Moedas, EU-Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation.

Clean-tech company APATEQ received an extraordinary award at the Start-up Europe Award ceremony (SEUA) from the European Commission along with Finnova Foundation. The annually held event took place at the European Parliament in Brussels (Belgium) on June 7th in presence of Antonio Tajani, President of the European Parliament, and Carlos Moedas, EU-Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation. The goal of the SEUA is to identify local role models in each ecosystem of start-ups across Europe. APATEQ was awarded for its green and compact wastewater treatment systems that represent a technological benchmark in the markets served.

Ivana Maletic, Member of the European Parliament from Croatia, presented the awards in the water category. “For 2050 it is expected that the consumption of water will double. It is necessary to develop new ways of facing the problem, and circular economy seems to be the base of this innovation. Recuperating the water coming from industrial sub-processes for the re-incorporation into the economic cycle, in order to be used as irrigation water and for other industrial processes”, said Ivana Maletic. “I am glad to see that start-ups from all around have put all their workforce, intellectual value and interest in developing new ways of facing the reality of water: APATEQ has developed new concept for water treatment, purifying and raising awareness about the topic of water.”

APATEQ erhält Start-up Europe Award der Europäischen Kommission • Die Europäische Kommission hat zusammen mit der Finnova Foundation die Gewinner der

jährlich stattfindenden Start-up Europe Awards (SEUA) bekannt gegeben. APATEQ wurde mit einem außerordentlichen Award ausgezeichnet.

• Das Clean-Tech Unternehmen APATEQ wurde für seine umweltfreundlichen und kompakten Wasser- und Abwasseraufbereitungssysteme prämiert.

• Die Preisverleihung fand im Europäischen Parlament in Brüssel unter Anwesenheit von Antonio Tajani, Präsident des Europäischen Parlaments, und Carlos Moedas, EU-Kommissar für Forschung, Wissenschaft und Innovation statt.

Das Clean-Tech-Unternehmen APATEQ hat bei der Start-up Europe Award Zeremonie (SEUA) der Europäischen Kommission und der Finnova Foundation eine außerordentliche Auszeichnung erhalten. Die jährlich stattfindende Veranstaltung fand am 7. Juni in Brüssel (Belgien) unter Anwesenheit von Antonio Tajani, Präsident des Europäischen Parlaments, und Carlos Moedas, EU-Kommissar für Forschung, Wissenschaft und Innovation, statt. Ziel der SEUA ist es, lokale Vorbilder in jeder Start-up Kategorie in ganz Europa zu identifizieren. APATEQ wurde für seine umweltfreundlichen und kompakten Abwasserbehandlungssysteme ausgezeichnet, die technologische Maßstäbe in ihren jeweiligen Märkten setzen.

Ivana Maletic, Mitglied des Europäischen Parlaments aus Kroatien, vergab die Awards in der Kategorie Wasser. „Für 2050 wird erwartet, dass sich der Wasserverbrauch verdoppelt. Es ist notwendig, neue Wege zu entwickeln, um das Problem zu bewältigen und eine Kreislaufwirtschaft („circular economy“) scheint die Basis dieser Innovation zu sein. Die Reinigung des Wassers aus industriellen Teilprozessen für die Wiedereinführung in den ökonomischen Kreislauf, zur Bewässerung oder zur Verwendung in industriellen Prozessen“, sagt Ivana Maletic. „Es freut mich zu sehen, dass Start-ups von überall her alle ihre Arbeitskraft, intellektuellen Werte, ihr vollstes Interesse in die Entwicklung neuer Ansätze zur Bewältigung der Handhabung von Wasser gelegt haben: APATEQ hat neue Wege zur Wasseraufbereitung und Reinigung aufgezeigt und zur Sensibilisierung für das Thema Wassers beigetragen.“

écologiques de traitement des eaux usées. • La cérémonie de remise de prix a eu lieu au Parlement Européen à Bruxelles en compagnie

d’Antonio Tajani, Président du Parlement Européen, ainsi que Carlos Moedas, Commissaire Européen pour la Recherche, la Science et l’Innovation.

L’entreprise Clean-Tech APATEQ a reçu un prix extraordinaire à la cérémonie du prix européen de la Start-up (SEUA) de la Commission Européenne accompagnée de la fondation Finnova. La cérémonie qui se tient annuellement au Parlement Européen à Bruxelles (Belgique) le 7 juin, a eu lieu en présence du Président du Parlement Européen Antonio Tajani, et de Carlos Moedas, Commissaire Européen pour la Recherche, la Science et l’Innovation. L’objectif de la SEUA est d’identifier des modèles locaux dans chaque catégorie de Start-ups à travers l’Europe. APATEQ a été récompensée pour ses systèmes compacts et écologiques de traitement des eaux usées qui représente une référence technologique sur les marchés concernés.

Ivana Maletic, membre du Parlement Européen de Croatie, a présenté les prix dans la catégorie de l’eau. « En 2050, on prévoit que la consommation en eau double. Il est nécessaire de développer de nouvelles façon d’aborder le problème et une économie circulaire semble être la base de cette innovation. La récupération des eaux provenant de procédés industriels pour la réintroduire dans le cycle, dans le but de l’utiliser comme eaux d’irrigation ou pour tout autre processus industriel », dit Ivana Maletic. « Je suis heureuse de voir que les Start-ups de partout dans le monde ont consacrées leurs efforts, leurs forces intellectuelles et leur ingéniosité dans le développement de nouvelles technologies pour faire face à la réalité de l’eau : APATEQ a développé un nouveau concept de traitement et de purification de l’eau, mettant ainsi en avant la sensibilisation sur le sujet de l’eau. »
