Another holiday passed and another wonderful evening of singing and camaraderie was held by the Tri-Cees singing group. On Monday, December 5th at 7pm in the Community Services Center, Room 201-203, the Tri-Cees helped the LCCC community celebrate the season with the annual holiday concert. Fingers and toes were snapping and tapping away at this year’s incomparably infectious selection of holiday fare. The unforgettable music of Irving Berlin, Richard Rodgers, George Gershwin, and a stunning medley from The King and I rounded out an evening of pure, unadulterated musical pleasure. Donations were also received for the benefit of Second Harvest Food Bank.

organization dedicated to training qualified dogs and handlers for therapeutic visits to any place where Therapy Dogs are needed. Charlene Piskula, a TDI volunteer, and her three-year-old golden retriever, Sirius, attended the “Pause for Therapy Dogs” event. Charlene made note that, “A therapy dog can take your frown and turn it upside down.” “It (the Therapy Dog event) has been really terrific,” Fisher said. “There are students that have really enjoyed it and the faculty and staff have enjoyed it as well. I think it has been really successful.” She is hoping to be able to make the “Pause for Therapy Dogs” an annual event.
