Welcome to the 2017 DPCC Swim Season I would like to start by taking this opportunity to thank our outgoing Board members, Amanda Suraci, Mark Naylor, and Sarah Coulter for all of their hard work over the past 3-years in helping to maintain DPCC and for ad- dressing the many needs of the facility and members. These board mem- bers expended a great deal of time and energy into keeping the Club oper- ating and with their departure, it became clear that the Board would need help with the time-consuming work of managing DPCC especially in the area of membership and property management and therefore recently vot- ed to approve the hiring of an HOA property management company. Mem- bers will begin to notice some slight changes that we think will be helpful including the ability to pay dues online. The Board will also be looking to the management company for their assistance in bringing the HOA govern- ing documents into compliance with recent changes in the law. Stay tuned for more information in the coming months. Regarding pool operations, the Board is pleased to announce that Gwen Drain and Traci Cook are returning as the swim team coordinators. Gwen and Traci did a great job in their first year and, along with our many won- derful coaches, produced a very successful season that ended with a re- spectable 3 rd place finish at championships. Unfortunately, we are sad to announce that last years pool manager, Lindsey Dewilde, will not be re- turning this year. Lindsey is graduating from college and will not be availa- ble this year. We wish Lindsey much success in her future career. The Board is excited about the upcoming swim season and is looking for- ward to hearing from members about how we can continue to improve the pool facilities to best serve the community. If you have any suggestions, we encourage you to come to the monthly board meetings, which are held on the second Tuesday of every month. We have a great club that we all care about and the Board is always looking for ways to make it an even better place where the neighborhood can come together and enjoy fun and friendship as a community. Sincerely, Steve Banke President, DPCC

2017 Swim Team

Calling All Stingrays!

Do you wish you were a Stingray? Join us! Registration is open for the Del Prado Stingray Swim Team and

runs through March 1, 2017. Check out the 2017 meet and practice schedule and download the application at

http://delpradoswimteam.org.

Some important things to know about the Stingray swim team:

Stingray swim meets do not take up your entire Saturday. Meets do start early but are generally wrapped

up by 12:30. Plus, they are super fun.

Swim team is not a substitute for swim lessons. Swimmers get a lot of practice time but still need stroke

instruction. Be sure to sign up for lessons at DPCC!

Stingray families are your neighbors and friends. We are one of the few neighborhood based teams and

joining us is an amazing opportunity to get to know your community!

Hurry! Applications must be mailed and postmarked by March 1, 2017. Questions? Contact team coordinators

Gwen Drain (650.863.6337) or Traci Cook (925.548.4581) or email at [email protected].

sions, $72/12 sessions. Conditioning fees will be

collected at check-in at your first session. Please

joints - and lots of fun! This is an opportunity to improve cardiovascular fitness,

balance and core strength. No swimming skills necessary. Classes will be held

Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00 - 9:00. The cost is $100/20 classes,

$60/10 classes, and a drop in rate of $7/class. Payment is due at time of registration. Ages 18 and older; no

children please. A minimum enrollment of 10 prepaid participants is necessary for class to be held. To regis-
