DESCRIPTION
What is our product ? A recycling system run by a waste management company which benefits the company through more recycled waste and benefits the user through reduced management fee How does it work? A sensor device attached to the recycling bin reads how much waste is thrown into the bin and store points into the device accordingly. When waste management company comes to collect the waste, it records the points stored in each bin. Or the data base will be sent through the internet. The waste management company keeps track of the ‘recycling points’ of each apartment and displays it in a website. This website is open to residents of the apartment so that they can monitor their own recycling performance The waste management company rewards a well performing residence by lowering the management fee or rewards actively recycling residence by a rewards system While the data in the sensor device will be sent to Waste Management Company through internet on a regular base, the Waste Management Company can coordinate the collection frequency and arrange for redirection of the waste to the potential buyers.
