With a view to implement international market synergies, Greenrail has closed a collaboration agreement for research and development activities concerning its smart products with INDRA, a leading multinational company in the development of technological solutions in the sectors of Transport and Traffic, Energy and Industry, Telecommunications and Media, among others. The partnership with INDRA is based on the sharing of values such as long- term vision and the will to maintain an entrepreneurial profile based on growth driven by innovation and sustainability.
In 2018 Greenrail was nominated as a member of CEN (European Committee for Standardization). As part of this organization Greenrail is involved and responsible for developing and defining voluntary railway standards and legislation, in particular regarding composite sleepers’ matter.

The world map presents all the countries, in which Greenrail technology is protected by the patent, and in which the process is pending. At present, Greenrail parent is granted in 64 states, and is waiting for approval in other 16. The following phase after obtaining a patent is sleeper’s homologation according to specific technical requirements in each country.

2012 Greenrail is founded by Giovanni De Lisi, with the aim of creating an innovative railway sleeper characterized by its technology, versatility and eco-sustainability.
2014 • Starting date of collaboration with
