Purpose of the New Comprehensive Housing Plan

To promote Government’s vision of a non-racial, integrated society and sustainable human settlements through a comprehensive integrated multi-year housing programme

Way Forward

1. Commence negotiations immediately with Municipalities and Provinces regarding planning and implementation of identified short term initiatives

2. Pursue discussions with Ministry and National DoH around the establishment of a National affordable housing development agency
