To start with….

We would like you to research information about your chosen planet. Find out interesting

facts such as: • What distance is it from the Sun?

• What distance is it from the Earth?

• Is the planet visible from Earth without a telescope?

• How big is the planet?

• Where did the planet’s name come from?

• When was the planet discovered?

• How long is its day?

• How long is its year?

• Does it have any moons?

• What’s its surface temperature?

• What is its atmosphere made of?

• What are the unique ‘must see’ features of the planet?

• A poster

• A leaflet

• A PowerPoint

• A song or a poem

• A 3D model with a fact sheet.
