PREPARING FOR WORSHIP CONFESSIONS
Just as Abraham did, I will prepare myself to worship the Lord (Genesis 22:5). Inthat time of preparation, Lord, I will keep my mind focused on You and who Youare. I trust in You and You will keep me in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).
I ask You to search my heart for any impure or wrong motive (Psalm 139:23).
I thank You, Lord, that the good deeds I do for the advancement of the Kingdomof God are done unto You and not because I want to be praised by men(Matthew 6:5).
I confess that everything I do, say, and think is motivated by the Love of God andas a result, I always reap a good harvest (1 Corinthians 13; 1 Corinthians 11:31).
I judge myself so that I will not be judged. When I find that my motives are notpure, I will immediately repent. Thank You for Your love and for a heart that ispure before You at all times (1 John 1:9).
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am carefully and wonderfully made inGod’s image (Genesis 1:26-27). My physical appearance is a reflection of Hisglory. I present my body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Him(Romans 12:1).
In preparation for, traveling to, and entering ICON Youth today, I will do so withthanksgiving and praise. I will be thankful and bless the name of the Lord (Psalm100:4).
As a body of worshippers, we join together in complete unison as if we are oneperson to give praise and thanksgiving to the Lord for He is good and His loveendures forever. We expect the glory of the Lord to come dwell among us as acloud (2 Chronicles 5:13).
In complete agreement, we lead the army of the Lord into battle. Our unifiedpraise and thanksgiving will cause the enemy to fall (2 Chronicles 20:20-24).
In Jesus’ name, I command Your angels to go forth now and bring thisconfession to pass in my life (Psalm 103:20-21). I believe and I have receivedthe manifestation of these promises (Mark 11:24). AMEN!
