Precision Metal Products, Inc. (PMP) forges and machines precision net and near-net engineered metal components for medical, aerospace, and industrial applications.

PMP is globally recognized for its superior forging and metal working capabilities. Precision crafted forgings, ranging from under 1 lb. to 80 lbs. in net weight, are produced from a variety of metals, including: Titanium, Stainless Steel, Cobalt Chrome, and Micro-Alloy.

CAPABILITIES

ENGINEERING• PMP’s engineering department utilizes the latest

PTC Pro-Engineer 3D CAD/CAM software.• Drawings can be created for designs in compliance

with current ANSI-ISO specifications, or, if applicable, existing designs can be used.

MANUFACTURING• Forging: precision closed die from under 1 to 80 lb.,

with tolerances up to ±0.005 inches (plan area up to 250 sq.in).

• Machining: Milling and turning using latest state-of-the-art CNC equipment; E.D.M. and supporting operations as requested.

• Complete tool and die building.• Polishing (incl. high energy mass finishing).• Heat treating and Chemical milling.

Our quality program complies with our customers’ FDA requirements for medical applications, and has acquired approvals from most major orthopedic implant OEMs.

Fully equipped and professionally staffed metallurgical lab provides mechanical property determinations, chemical analyses, and other relevant (metallurgical) verifications throughout all processing stages, as per customers’ requirements.
