Precision ground flat steel is a time saving constructional element and intermediate product and has - through the ever growing need to avoid uneconomical and time con-suming prefabrication - become a product of great importance for many industrial branches.

Our flat ground steel has a rectan-gular and square profile in closely toleranced dimensions, is ready to use for machining and can be de-livered from our stock comprising a large selection of materials and as-sortments.

Rationalization can be increased through the use of prefabricated semi finished products.

The cost effectiveness of produ-cing die and blanking tools, devices, gauges and machine parts will be considerably increased.

A precondition to making use of these advantages is of course a high level of precision in the deli-vered product.

Thanks to the heat treatment techniques developed on the basis of decades of experience , we are able to achieve the highest quality standards, through the use of CNC machinery and state-of-the art measurement and control equipment.

All wear parts, such as longitudinal, frontal, molding and cover plates as well as molding prisms, underarms and mandrels are manufactured completely in-house.

As a specialist in the sand-lime brick industry we have expanded our pro-ductline to include the industry renowned and patented Placas y Moldes plate system. The wear plates in this system are made up of multiple com-ponents, whereby the highly alloyed and highly wear resistant surfaces can be renewed.

We offer a wide range of high longwearing moulds and wear plates for the concrete industry and are specialized in producing the following parts:

Augers

In addition to continuously rolled augers, we also produce spirals, using special equipment, from flat and round steel, ST materi-als, anti corrosive and acid resistant qualities as well as, to some extent, from heat resistant steels.

We can produce diameter ranges between 20 and max. ca. 200 mm, depending on material cross section. These special spirals are used among other areas in

• machine tools for chip removal • wood chip and pellet heating systems for hopper and ash screw

conveyors, as turbulators or cleaning screw conveyors • special machine engineering, e.g., brake pad production

Special Rolling Method

Our special cold rolling machinery produces continuously rolled augers from ST materials, corrosion and acid resis-tant steel as well as other cold formable steel qualities.

A fully automated production ensures exact con-formity to requested dimensions. Through uniform forming we can produce measurement exact end products - augers are produced, ready-to-install. This allows the auger to be mounted on drums or shafts cost effectively and problem free. The source material is formed between the two conical rollers of our powerful specialised rolling equipment.

This characteristic forming method gives up to 60% more strength through to the outer diameter. In his way we able to achieve a significant increase in wear resistance for daily use. Through the in-creased strength of our quality augers, the plates do not need to be as thick as otherwise required for the same purposes. That means lower costs and easier handling through reduced weight.

Highly Wear Resistant Coated Screw Conveyors

Many application fields for screw conveyors set high requirements for wear resistance. In order to meet these requirements we deliver powder-coated screw conveyors. Through the use of a thermal sinter method powder form, self-flowing, high quality, metallic alloy suitable compositions from carbon, tungsten, carbides, chrome, boron, silicon and nickel are melt-bonded to the augers.

Through this coating we are able to achieve, for the desired areas, a tightly sealed molecular structure and an up to 61 HRc hard surface.

Primarily, we partially coat the auger towards the outer edges of the forward side.

Continuously Rolled Augers

We manufacture in the diameter range 50 - 800 mm with the option of various pitches and source plate thicknesses between 2,5 - 10 mm. We manufacture according to the requests of our customers within this range of measurements and thickness options.

Augers in standard lengths of 3000 mm, right and left handed from ST material (Stw 22 / ST 37), formed by cold rolling.

For diameters up to 250 mm we also manufacture the standard measure-ments from the material 1.4301, from stock.

We manufacture ready to install complete screws for our customers based on requests, drawings and their constructional layouts.

For production we use

• continuously rolled augers • spirals manufactured from flat steel • helical flighting (also HARDOX or similar) that we weld on mounting drums or shafts

Mounting is effected through tack welding or con-tinuous welding, depending on request guidelines, according to which we also manufacture and mount drive, bearing and connecting shafts.

Through final straightening we ensure a ready to install product.

The complete screws will be delivered with a black immersion primer coating, optionally also without surface protection or with custom paint.

Mixer Screw Conveyor Systems

The Easy feed is particularly intended for small plants that are to be filled at ground level. It consists of one component that mixes and feeds. The feed mix screw extends below the liquid surface and thus inhibits the escape of gases. The container can hold up to 11 m³.

This feeding system is available in both a 90° as well as a 45° version for side feeding.

For drivable digesters a horizontal screw conveyor is used. The feed is effected with a plug screw from above into the digester.

The length and conveyor angle of the screw conveyor can be adjusted for local requirements.

A further option is a direct feed with an inclined screw conveyor. It can be optio-nally equipped with the 300 Maxi or 500 Mega feed.

The standard mixer screw conveyor system with weight control consists of feed steep and plug screw conveyor components and is delivered ATEX-conform. Special, infinitely variable flanges ease on-site assembly. The feed screw conveyor is fed by a vertical mixer.

Push floor for woodchips

The woodchip delivery system is also included in our product range. It corporates the same fundamental technology as the push floor, but with special features for conveying wood.

The shredding Compact feed with push floor combines the positive characteristics of the push floor conveyor system with the positive characteristics of the mixer screw conveyor system. The compact push floor is optionally available with a con-tinuous weight control.Installed in front of the feeding racks, the shredder improves the feeding of very difficult to feed substrates.

The push floor with complete weight control consists of two or more hydraulically powered racks that feed the material into a double screw conveyor. Further conveyance into the digester is accom-plished by way of proven steep and plug screw conveyors.

The robust construction ensures a long life time. In order to keep friction against the racks to a minimum and to protect the concrete floor from mechanical and chemical influences, synthetic materials (acid and wear resistant) are used for the entire floor.

The advanced push floor can also convey long fibrous substrates. Instead of a double screw conveyor, a lateral rack is integrated. This allows for ground level assembly and optional continous weight control for the complete push floor.

From the push floor the substrate will be fed into a double screw conveyor and shredded there. Material prepared in this way can then be easily transported using screw conveyors or pumps.

The shredder screw for the push floor is the extension for the optimal feeding of difficult to feed sub-strates, e.g. manure. For more than four decades the PRÄZI Group has manufactured products in the field of agricultural technology in close cooperation with the most rec-ognized names in agricultural machinery production.

In addition to our screw conveyor line we have - constantly exchanged ideas with our partners - specialized ourselves in the production of rotating assembly components for the agricultural machinery industry. The manufac-turing takes place at CONTAREX Agrotechnika Kft. and at both locations in Germany. Our production facilities are state of the art and we employ only qualified personnel.

Our focus is on products for combine harvesters, beetroot crop harvesting machines, shredders, forage harvesters, cutter bars and hearders.

PRÄZI Quality

Proven Quality Generates Trust

Successful quality management in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 9004 has been implemented in the individual companies within the PRÄZI Group.

Processes and special production methods have been documented in pro-cess descriptions, process instructions, work instructions, inspection in-structions and flow charts.

The process chain starts with the selection of proven suppliers of our raw materials. We monitor and control these through a series of in-house audits, receiving inspections and initial samples.

Through the high quality awareness of our employees we can ensure that only parts meeting the requirements are accepted for delivery. This is ac-complished through suitable training and the responsibility of each employ-ee within the framework of our employee self assessments. Our employees have access to the neccessary and suitable test and measurement equip-ment.

For specific construction parts a final inspection is conducted at the end of the process chain. Inspection certificates in accordance with DIN EN 10204 can be issued at the customer’s request.

Our QA Department uses state-of-the-art equipment to inspect the con-struction parts. All equipment necessary for the inspections is subjected to inspection equipment monitoring as directed by the German Calibration Service.

CNC controlled 3-coordinate measuring equipment is used for the inspec-tion of dimension, form and positional tolerances in a climate controlled measuring room. The quality characteristic roughness is assured through the use of various roughness measuring devices.

The individual hardness tests are conducted for HRC in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6508, for HV in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6507, and for HBW in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6506 using suitable hardness testing machines. Special processes, such as the encasing or hardening of constrution parts, are inspected using a spectrometer. Material flaws are detected using ultrasound testing equipment.

Since the individual processes for the construction parts are systematically controlled and regulated by our QA Department a high level of customer satisfaction is assured.
