“ We Gather In God’s Presence...” Prelude Music (Please take time to prepare for worship and silence electronic devices)
Greeting & Ministry Updates
Call to Worship (based on Psalm 23) Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth! Amen! As a shepherd calls to their sheep, We are listening for the call of God to follow. As a shepherd cares for the lambs, looking out for the lost and least, We are called to seek out the lost and least in our world. As a shepherd rejoices when the lost sheep are found, We rejoice and welcome one another in the name of Christ. As a shepherd leads the sheep to safety and rest, We enter this time of worship , finding safe rest in our God.
Prayer
*Hymn # 14 ‘Womb of Life and Source of Being’ IN BABILONE
Fourth Sunday of Easter The liturgical color today is white representing the celebration of the resurrection!
Call to Confession Unison Prayer of Confession Receive us , O God, as a fearful and broken people. Receive us
in our false pride and shattered humanity. Embrace us in our
bewilderment and anxiety. Save us from the wrong we do and
the evil we allow. Tame our rebellion and strengthen our faith;
establish your reign among us, for we need courage beyond us
to live more fully as your people. Loving God, forgive us our sins
and restore us to life in you. In Jesus’ name…
