COOKBOOK CORRECTIONS: Two recipe corrections in our "4 Corners Cookbook": P. 23 The last recipe should read - "German Potato Salad" (it was my Grandma Scheel's recipe). On P. 20 The first recipe on the page, Broccoli Salad - please add 1/2 cup sugar. So the dressing is: 1 cup mayonnaise, 2 Tablespoons vinegar, and a 1/2 cup sugar. This recipe came from Dale's mother, Marion Fitch and without sugar....I'm not sure how it would have tasted!! Thank you, Carolyn Ashe Fitch, Emanuel Lutheran Church

The Second Sunday after Pentecost—June 7, 2015

"There are people in the world so

hungry, that God cannot appear to

them except in the form of bread." - Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948)

Circle every fourth letter and write it on

the blanks below. The remaining letters are today’s Memory Verse from Mark 3:35. Underline each word as you

memorize it.

Pent means five. Pentecost is the 50th day

after Easter. The first five books of the Bible are called the Pentateuch. So what would a high Pente be? Give one to a friend after

church.

Jesus’ disciples were like family to him. See

how Jesus asked one disciple to care for his mother in John 19:26-27.

Mark 3:35 So who’s in God’s family?
