Neck morphology

Prama Slim

Prama, the one and only intramucosal implant, was designed with a converging neck to maximize the thickness of soft tissues. To answer all

clinical situations, Prama implants are available in three different heights of the intramucosal neck:

Prama Slim was specifically developed for those areas with limited horizontal dimension. This implant has a straight intramucosal neck 1.80 mm or 2.80 mm high.

Note: The use of Prama Slim for single crowns is just intended for the upper lateral incisors and for the lower central and lateral incisors. In all the other positions

it can only be used for multiple rehabilitations.

Neck morphology and prosthesisThe concept of intramucosal Implant is very simple from the prosthetic point of view: considering the soft tissues thickness, it will be chosen the height of the

neck between 1.80 mm, 2.80 mm and 3.80 mm and it will be decided whether to use a prosthesis that lays on the implant platform or whether to partially embra-

ce the converging neck with dedicated Prama IN components.

All three necks can receive the prosthesis that closes at the platform level, while the Prama IN prosthesis that embraces the neck for 0.5 mm can only be used

with 2.80 mm and 3.80 mm necks.

The Prama IN components that embrace the neck for 1.50 mm in height can only be used on the 2.80 mm neck.
