Pray for a spirit of unity and love, and enthusiasm for sharing the Gospel. • Pray for the children who will attend, that they will comprehend and accept the message of God’s story and his love for them through the relationships that will be built through the week. • Pray for safety and health as we guide the children through many activities, inside and outside. • Pray for the “Meaningful Missions” project of bringing clean water into communities in India - that the children would understand the value of showing God’s love in this way. • Pray that we all would experience God’s joy and peace in the midst of this high-energy, fun, and sometimes stressful environment.

Psalm 118:5-9 In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free. The LORD is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? Yes, the LORD is for me; He will help me. I will look in triumph at those who hate me. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes. Have a few questions or thoughts to share on the service? Pastoral Care Team

Care Giving Ministry Purpose Statement: “We exist to follow Christ’s example by seeking out and identifying needs of those in our church and community, responding with non-judgmental assistance and support.”

Long/Short Term Vision: We all are called to carry the burden and to minister to people who are hurting inside and outside the congregation. "Love one another as I have loved you." John 13:34 There is a huge benefit when each one of God’s children comes alongside a friend that is hurting, and provides emotional and spiritual care for as long as the need persists. Paul said: "Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2 Opportunity to serve: As a congregation we continue to experience many care giving opportunities and it has been a joy to see many of you serve and experience tremendous spiritual growth. Thank you to each one of you! If you are interested in serving on a care giving team i.e. Grief Support, Meals Ministry, Prayer Network, Visitation Ministry, Divorce Care, Cancer Care, etc…please email [email protected] or talk to one of the pastoral care team members: Greg & Janet Armstrong, Delbert & Marianne Enns, Dave Ens, Sandi Hamm, Joy Klassen, Walter Klassen, Cory Normand, Rob & Shirley Penner and Melanie Wiebe.
