1. COMPETITOR ACTIVE / NOT ACTIVE

A racer does not appear on the 5th FIS List (Tuesday 21st December) but his biography shows that he is active and has FIS Points. The 6th List is valid from Thursday on. He is on the board for Wednesday competition.

Can you let him start? If yes, how do you enrolled him on the board?

2. DH DRAW BOARD

After the first DH training 5 competitors from amongst the first 15 on the board are sick and are unable to start the second training. Their coach wants to pull them from the board to give some others the chance to start in the first 15 group. He asked if they can start the race the day after tomorrow if they are feeling well.

Check the rules Is there any disadvantage to the competitors? What if they did not start the first training?

3. SL POLE MISSING

Slalom competition. Racer number 5 started and after passing gate number 10, finds that the next turning pole is missing. He realized that something happened but still skies another 3-4 gates. After this, he stops. His coach, standing close to you asked immediately for a re run. After the first run a protest against the confirmation of the re-run is made.

Can anyone make a protest? If yes, within what time frame?

4. WRONG BIBS

During the first run a coach close to you makes a comment regarding two competitors from the same nation who finished minutes ago. Apparently numbers 8 and 13 started with wrong bibs. Before the run has finished the Coach responsible for that Team came to you and explained his mistake, he gave the competitors the wrong bibs.

How do you deal with this case? Is there any rule you can use?

DH race is finished. You have already sent the results to the FIS and results have been published on the web. Before dinner you receive a protest against the qualification of a racer apparently who was DSQ and nobody noticed. You consult the video.

Is there something you can do? What advice would you give the coaches?
