1st step

Before designing my final draft of my school prospectus I decided to do some online research of other existing school prospectuses. I did this to get an overall feel and idea of the layout they had and what was included in them.

2nd step

After looking at images online of school prospectuses I decided to go out and look at my school’s sixth form prospectus and closely study it.

The school’s logo was placed on the left hand side of the prospectus which was also a common feature in most prospectuses

Clearly states that its a sixth form prospectus so its not to be confused

School’s name is written in bold and large letters to attract the audience and to remind them of what school it is

Nice close-up shot of a student which was a common concept in all prospectuses I looked at

Students who look proud to be a part of St Marks attracting the audience

Prospectus contents page analysed

A list of all the courses available for students to know what they can study which was a common feature throughout most sixth form prospectuses.

A message to the parents persuading them to send their kids there which wasnt a feature found in all prospectuses.

Images of students looking happy which emphasises the idea to the parents that the 6th form is a good place to learn in.

After conducting this research I shall try to incorporate as many common features that I have found in Sixth Form Prospectuses into my one.
