Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

As you can see from When I started this task of making my own music magazine IDidn’t know much about layout, font, colours or how to catch the eye of my target audience.

As you can see I didn’t make my dominant image stand out well at all as the colours on the page don’t match with the images used. The title of the magazine its very colourful ,bold or eye catching as it is a small piece of text on the top of my page.

Things that I have worked on:

-I have worked on colouring of my magazine such as shown in my ability magazine where I have applied colours from the outfit to the colouring of my front cover.

-The layout of my magazine, although I have got a dominant image in both my Practice magazine and the real thing I have presented my character to shown that this magazine is featuring one particular artist.

I ensured I made my titleColourful and also so itWould stand out so that The target audience couldSee what magazines name was

I used the outfitMy character isWearing to represent Her as being more like a pop star.Also, I chose the colours Of pink, black, silver and Grey as they would appeal To females more as they Are more feminine colours.

I used a brightly set Of colours to draw The reader into see How much the price of the magazine would be. Also, I set The price at £1.99As this is an affordable price forMost teenage girls.

I also gave a Number of ideasI would be talkingAbout within theMagazine. I included Things such as gossip,Latest music etc. as this Appeals to girls more And also makes them feel more involved within the magazine.

The title of my Practice magazineDoesn’t catch the Readers eye at all As it is not bold, Colourful or eye Catching.

The dominant imageIsn’t very clear on what It is representing otherThan a student at the School.

The logo of the School its very Bright or colourful So it doesn’t make You want to find out More about the school.
