SE06 Transfer Credit Application System

[ Department of Computer Science | FYP Showcase Semester 2, 2012/2013 ]

The objective of this project is to present the automation Transfer Credit System (TCS). TCS is a platform for students of Kulliyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT), International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) to the current process has been manually done. This paper describes and documents the process of that the credit of the course can be transferred, an applicant needs to fulfill the pre-requirements before their applications can be processed. The aim of TCS is to automate the manual transfer credit application process so as to reduce time and cost.

1. To create a system that can automate the functionality

of the transfer credit process. 2. To reduce the effort, time and cost of the AA in

reviewing the applications.

Transfer Credit Application System Scope

Evolutionary Methodology

TCS allow the person in charged to improve their current system which is manual to a more systematic process. This system will help in saving valuable man hours and unnecessary effort. In other words, by using this system, it reduces time and cost the process of transferring credits.

TCS is the transfer credit could be able for the AAS and AA to communicate within their own desktop. Besides that, the AA can also refer to the archieve and history for every review session so that the application no need to review again if there any same cases before. Thus, this may reduce paper usage in the office and less time consuming. With this system also, can minimize unnecessary effort in order to review the application.
