DESCRIPTION

In the present study, the effect of fish oil replacement by a vegetable oils mix in diets was evaluated in growth, hematology and blood
biochemistry in greater amberjack. Four diets were formulated with 0% (FO 100) 75% (FO 25) and 100% (with FO 0+or without probiotic FO
0) of fish oil substitution by this mix. The results indicate no significant differences in the final weight, the instantaneous growth rate,
thermal growth coefficient, feed rate and feed conversion rate. In hematological parameters no significant differences were found
among diets. However, fish fed diets without fish oil (with or without probiotic) showed the lowest LDH activity and plasmatic
cholesterol. Fish fed with FO 25 diet exhibited the highest glucose concentration.

RESULTADOS Y DISCUSIÓN
Tabla II.
