Competition between sports

All sports and sports club/teams need to have as many viewers/spectators/followers as they can in

order to make money. Therefore there is a lot of competition to get the people to follow a club or

play a sport. This means that sports and clubs need to think of their customers and find ways to

attract new customers and also find ways to keep their existing customers.

• Live match attendance: Increased if people are interested meaning more money for club

• Price of tickets: Can change depending on the demand

• Attracting fans from all over: Increased following and support

• Family ticket offers: To promote the support and participation

• Big screens in other areas of the local town to promote togetherness

• Designing new sports/rules to promote fun in sports (T20 Cricket and VAR in football)

Competition between sports : The competition between clubs and sports in massive because of

the money involved. No club/team/sport wants to lose their tv rights or broadcasting rights as they

money involved can have vital implications.

Therefore, sports such as cricket and football have changed the rules to make the sport more fair and

fun.
