The J2 480L shares many of the features of the J2 480 but is designed to be a more cost effective solution through the elimination of some functionality found to be not required for many POS applications.

A range of processor options are available up to quad core specifications. SATA 2.0 hard drives are included providing a cost saving yet high performance for POS applications.

RAID functionality is excluded but all other features found in the J2 480 are included.

The J2 1D and 2D terminal mounted scanners provide the right barcoding solution in a compact and versatile solution.

These barcode scanners feature Honeywell scanning engines in a terminal mounted case.

Both the 1D and 2D scanners can be mounted on the J2 625, 680, 680L and Sango terminals as well as being mounted on customer displays.

The scanners can be adjusted to scan at different angles as well as mounted on customer displays allowing for the customer to interact directly with loyalty programs.

The 1D scanner model offers high speed scanning of conventional barcodes, even the most difficult to read. Thanks to it’s in builtmovement sensor, the 1D scanner switches automatically into standby mode when not in use, for improved energy saving.

J2 UPS

Retailers using POS systems from J2 can now enjoy a breakthrough in UPS support that offers power protection never seen before inPOS solutions. Whilst an external AC UPS can provide run times of 5-30 minutes, the J2 Universal UPS can support run time from 1.5-5hours depending on the J2 systems used and configuration.

One big advantage of using the J2 UPS is that all peripheral powered by the J2 POS will still be powered when running on the UPS includingprinters when using the J2 680/680L terminals.

This long run time enables retailers to continue trading as normal, including doing cash transactions and printing, with no corruption or loss of data. Before it runs out of power, the system will trigger a safe and timely shut-down. The UPS unit is competitively priced, making it an affordable and wise investment.

The J2 universal UPS will work with all J2 POS computer products. This includes the NINO/480/615/625/630/680 and 680L. For theJ2 6xx series, the UPS mounts in the base of the unit where the power supply is normally mounted. When using the UPS option the power supply will be mounted externally to the unit. For the NINO and the J2 480 the UPS will be mounted externally.

THE J2 UPS is available in both 2,600mAh and 5,200mAh versions depending on run time requirements.
