2019: Began season on Thunder IL, joined Tampa on 4/27: 5G, 1 SV, 8.31 ERA (4.1 IP, 8 H, 4 R, 0 BB, 6 K)… Joined Thunder on 5/14… Retired 18-of-the-first-20 batters

he faced with the Thunder

2018: Led NYY MiLB with 19 saves (6 - CSC, 8 – Tampa, 5 – Trenton)… Recorded save for playoff-clinching victory over Hartford on 8/26, one year to the day after

season-high 3.0 innings on 8/5 @ Hartford allowing one baserunner and 4 K’s… Made 11 appearances with Glendale in Arizona Fall League following the season

going 0-1 with a 1.50 ERA (12.0 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 6 BB, 14 K)…

2017: In first season with Yankees, went 3-0 record with 11 SV and a 0.88 ERA (30.2IP, 17H, 5R/3ER, 4BB, 46K, 1HR) in 19G between Pulaski and Charleston

H.S. (Ill.) with PIT RHP Nick Burdi, played against former NYY farmhand Eric Jagielo (Downers Grove North H.S. (Ill.))…

Pitching Coordinator Danny Borrell on Wivinis (MLB.com 10/19/18): "Everything he throws is above average. The spin rate he gets on all his pitches is off the charts

-- in particular his breaking stuff. That's why he gets a ton of swings and misses. And he's got two different fastballs that have a lot of life. He's got a four-seamer

that's got a sharp cut to his glove side and a two-seamer that's got great spin and runs away a lot. It's a good mix of pitches, and it's helped him miss bats at every

level."
