I am Victoria Hernández and I am currently studying the Product Design degree in Elisava.

Since I was a child I have been very cu-rious and creative, willing to learn and know the reason of things. I am keen on looking for new experiences and chal-lenges. For this reason, I think that I like to travel and discover new cultures. My inspiration is every object that I see or touch, every kind of the materials, every form...

I consider myself an active, hardwork-ing, responsible, and passionate per-son, in love with the sunsets and pho-tography. I am used to work in groups and it is something that I like since you can exchange ideas and see dif ferents point of view of the same project.

My dream is to create objects that could improve people’s life, being more ef ficient and better for people.

The aim was to experiment with light on a lamp shaped object. Depending on the material that is chosen light creates different shapes and colors.

Just by pressing the button on or off two we can create op-posite faces of the same object. It is important to emphasize the importance of materials finally chosen and especially, the color that I choosed for the lamp. It can transform to a something sweet and clear to an object with a great visual impact, much more violent.Game of transparencies we get by reducing the amount of the film plaster. Small holes where light can pass, builds this visual image.

The same product as shape, typical Lego block scales to achieve adequate housing for keeping the product is used. A great visual impact, likewise, also allows collect-ing boxes of the product, besides being able to play with the packaging itself is created.

The new packaging allows us in one transport pallet 336 packs toy fit unlike the 144 that fit with the old packag-ing, giving us a great advantage in terms of transport costs and of course the final weight.Consequently to reduce empty space and changing mate-rials allows a longer life to the product and reuse.

In relation to our project, the goal was create an exposi-tion from a single element (the city) that consists of nine elements (Invisible Cities). That is all part of a grup, then spreads to form independent.

The exposition has a total of 7 weeks (49 days). During the first two weeks, of separation modules occurs. On week-ends the exhibition will remain practically inactive since the college closed. During the last week, the modules will be re-unite.

The logo of the exhibition is a reg-ular heptagon that is divided into nine irregular pieces both forms, as the number of vertices, and size.

It is decided by dif ferent reasons, to create the graphical representa-tion heptagon order-chaos concept.

This polygon is regular, each side are equal, however, to have an odd number Vertex creates an irregu-larity to the eye, defending Chaos.

Similarly, we maintaining order. Regarding the sentence of logo, we wanted to join our concept, The Big Bang, with the foregoing, the cities. It is easy to understand, our expo-sition is on Italo Calvino’s Invis-ible Cities book, it is a blast and creation of their cities in 3D. The book takes on another dimension somehow through Big Bang.

Each city has a booklet containing the logo of the exhibition. Blank section indicates the position in which it is located within the expo-sure.On the back, you can find the chap-ter of the book that tells about the city. The brochures are in two of the walls of the modules at a height ac-cessible to the public.The modules are divided into two levels, 350 and 240 cm. It is to be forming on the walls exposition, en-veloping the user.

Each module is built with wood ag-glomerated high density of 14 mm. Then sealed and applies a layer of gray paint.

Some of the modules takes brack-ets reinforcement at the top. Each part is linked to the others through screws.

Symbiosis is a space that has the essence of where it is located. Around it you can see restaurants, offices, parks some many activities, people walking, athletes who take advantage of the beach to practice their sport...

For this reason, it is the union of dif-ferent component parts of the place. From floor to ceiling 3 parts. First, the ground, it is plain and simple, you can see neutral colors and an artificial style. Also, in the ground, you can sit in the cubes that refers to the breakwaters that

are on the beach, very characteristic. On the wall, we can see wooden walls that provide continuity and direction in space, it is the most natural and artifi-cial material and also one of the mate-rials most used on the beaches. Finally, the roof is invaded by vines, it is the most natural part of the space.

Shadows is a large object from a height of 1.70 cm at the highest point. It would be located on the beach and have a similar utility to a para-sun. The curved forms would be mobile so that the user could enter this cov-ered space and modify the shadow that would be created on him.For more experimentation and test the limits of the material I decided to put the wood in water to make them soft. This way I could create curves to something that was completely straight start. Importantly, the material was soaked four days and needed a funnel to keep the way I wanted it to dry up

Splash is a small magazine that deals with the laundry. Objects like baskets of clothes or types of clothesline are the protagonists. It is a fanzine that accompanies the product B2 foregoing.
