    Descrition :

    Tis project was assigned to teach us how to come up with multiple ideas or one concept, a logo.

    Objectives:

    Create a variety o logos to fit a company or personal image (at least 3 new logos). Do not imitate existinglogos or use your previous designs. Use only the tools o Illustrator. (No photos on logo page) Setting up aproessional display or the company. Arrange three logos on an 8.5 x 11 vertical page / .5 margins and addthe company name in simple type at the top o page. Getting eedback rom outside sources. Ask ten peopleto select their avorite logo. List the results, along with your avorite, in your blog post.

    Process:

    I started by opening adobe illustrator and creating company name. Lenative is the clothing brand I came upwith and the style they would represent is going to be was a chill surer/ skater look. I sketched out some ideaand made it happen on the computer. With the first a logo I decided to do something a little simple and easygoing just using an easy to read ont. Te second I wanted to have a logo that one day could hold itsel I justused the shape building tools cand crated the L shape then copied and flipped it with a circle in the center. Istarted by just typing out the name then turned each character into its individual object to edit. I stretchedthe L and the creating a new look.

    Descrition :

    Tis is a picture o I took mysel and edited using Photoshop. Te object o this project was to learn how touse Photoshop and the many tools it has.

    Objectives:

    Learn basic photography skills. Use a digital camera to take a quality image, then download it. Size and cropthe image. 6x6 resolution 150. Adjust image brightness, contrast, hue and saturation levels. Use a selectiontool to isolate a portion o the image. Desaturate the selected portion o the image. Use a filter or colorizea portion o the image. Document needs to be 8.511 150 resolution. Margins: top 2in., sides 1.25in. andbottom 3in.

    Process:

    I took the picture uploaded it to the computer and opened in Photoshop. I changed the sizing to 66 andresolution o 15. I changed the huge and saturation o the background o the photo and then used the blackand white tool to darken the background.

    Tis project was based using masks in our photos using Photoshop, I was required to you two or morephotos and blur then together.

    Objectives:

    earn to manage Photoshop layers. Learn to blend images together smoothly, using masks. (wo or moreimages). Use filters. (Apply at least one). Apply appropriate typography. Choosing good quality images.(Note background should be at least 16501275 pixels) Apply typography principles (titles, quotes, events orscripturesyour choice). Uniying a piece with a consistent theme

    Process:

    I started off by taking pictures o riends having un, and uploading them to the computer. Once AdobePhotoshop was open I started by placing the background photo and doing my edits on that photo. I useda black and white filter then changed the huge and saturation a little. Next I placed the pictures in thesunglasses lenses and then placed masks over each. I then lowered the opacity and removed the excesspicture.

    Objectives:

Learning to keep thing simple by having watermarks anddrop shadows light and white space. Applying contact inormation: Include name, address, phone, and emailon each piece. Use periods, bullets, or spaces in phone #; No parentheses/ hyphens.

    Process:

    I started by creating a new company. I thought about cupcakes and how they were so delicious and decidedI was going to make the bossiness card or. Te cupcake actorys business card came about when I openedillustrator and I started by sizing the page, I simply typed the company name at the top and made a gearusing the eclipse tool and the rectangle tool. In order to make the cupcake I just grabbed the brush tool anddrew it out placed it inside the gear and called it good.

    Tis project was testing our ability to scan an image into the computer and incorporate it into our event ad.Tis project was done in Microsof word.

    I started off finding an image that I could create an event ad out o. I ound the image scanned it in and madesure it met pixel requirements. Afer I opened a word publisher page and began creating my ad.

    Descrition :

    this brochure was assigned to help use urther our knowledge on the unlimited possibilities that you havewhen working with InDesign. I worked with a previous logo and created a whole story behind it.

    Objectives:

    Set up and align a two-sided, olded document. Create an original company logo and use it in a brochure.

    Incorporate quality images. (Incorporate at least our quality images (Not including the logo). One houldbe clipped in Photoshop and text-wrapped in InDesign so the text ollows the cutout shape o the image.)Write at least 250 words o original copy with at least three paragraphs. rim or a ull bleed and print induplex (two-sided) color.

    Process:

    I began by opening InDesign and creating the layout I wanted to work with. I ound the photos I was goingto use on Google images and wrote the body copy or the brochure. I created Paragraph style and pastedthe words into the brochure. Afer that I put my images in and created the extra gears in the brochure orvisual appeal. I chose one o the gears to have the text wrap on it and corrected the words so there wasnt anyorphans or widows. I took my screen shots and called it good.

    Descrition :

    with project 7 we were required to code a web page. On the page we were to describe a logo we have makeand the process o creating it.

    Objectives:

    Acquire a working knowledge o HML. (Must include all required tags (Doctype (provided), html, head,title, meta charset (provided), & body. As well as tag that links to external style sheet. With in the bodyinclude h1, h2, p, ol or ul (with li tags), img, hr, and a (link to blog) tags.). Acquire a working knowledgeo CSS. (Customize the Cascading Style Sheet (css) provided in I-Learn to add page ormatting thatcomplements the logo design, by changing at least the ollowing: Te h1 text color & background color, ontcolors or the paragraphs & list items, the background color, Font Families and add at least one css comment

    Process:

    I started by picking my avorite logo I have made thus ar. I chose my cupcake actory logo and started bymaking a project older and adding the logo and the code template. I copied the notes I had taken in class onhow to ormat a web cite. I wrote the process o creating the logo and then looked and the design aspect othe web page. Afer completing my assign 2 or project 7 I used the css to add color.

    Descrition :

    Black and White flier to promote a graduate leadership conerence.

    Objectives:

    Apply the design principles and use appropriate typography. Incorporate basic InDesign skills to improvebasic flier layout. Retrieve image and logo rom links on this page. Create a project older with image, logoand InDesign document to keep links intact.

    Process:

    Beore starting the project I sketched out a ew potential designs. Next open InDesign and created a newpage with the right margins and increments. I then begun to design my pages using rules I had learned about

    in COMM 150. When it was time to insert the images, I went to BrainHoney and saved the desired images,entered the photos and made final touch ups. As I moved images around I made sure the images were alllinked or better quality.
