Portable Wi-Fi® Hotspot and USB Tethering

Touch Apps > Settings > More Settings. Select Tethering and Portable Hotspot.

Select Configure to see the password.

The Samsung Galaxy S® III can also share its internet connection with a computer over a USB data cable. Please note that this feature requires a subscription to a tethering plan.

Insert the USB end of the cable into the USB port on the computer. Insert the other end of the cable into the charging port on the phone.

Your Galaxy S III will indicate that it is now tethered and your computer will automatically install a driver for your phone.

Touch the checkbox next to USB tethering.

3.Touch Apps > Settings > More Settings. Select Tethering and Portable Hotspot.

Simply uncheck the checkbox next to USB tethering to stop tethering.

Review the introduction to tethering and touch Accept.
