SHORT CAREER OVERVIEW

Ignas’ career started in 2006 when he was 15 years old and by the age of 18 Ignas had won his first Lithuanian Kart championship. A further two wins in Lithuanian Kart championship followed in 2010 and 2011, during these years he won 4th place in Polish karting championship (with missing two out of ten rounds) and the 3rd place in Polish karting championship. He took 14th place in Vortex Rok world final in 2008, after one year took 6th place in Rok world final and always was one of the favorites in Lithuanian and Polish championships. In 2011 Ignas had won Lithuanian Race of champions.At the age of 21, following a successful karting career (3 consecutive Lithuanian champion titles), Ignas graduated to car racing. Straightly moving to a very competitive and well-known “Air Asia Clio Cup GB” where he was facing a world class tracks scattered around United Kingdom and competing against fastest UK’s drivers. Every track was new story for Ignas, but it was not the thing to stop him: setting 4th

place as a best qualification result and 7th place - race finish. During the season Ignas reached 10th place out of 30 participants overall. Even more, Ignas took 3rd place in rookie cup. On the 2013 Clio cup GB season Ignas won 3rd and 2nd places on qualifying session.
