SUMMARY – M28 ADVANTAGES

• Flying in extremly hot and cold conditions

• Safe flight even with one engine inoperative (even in known icing condition – best in class bleed air installation).

• Hi manueverability and very low stall speed (xx)

• Doors opened in flight (raft drops, light bomb drops etc),

• Most of M28 aircrafts holds Civil EASA/FAA certificate

• Comfortable cabin with high ceeling

• Optimized size of the platform equipped as medium size MPA with high payload vs long endurance (6 hours is opimal for the crew and mission effieciency – no need of backup crew).

• Avionics supporting maritime operation (search pattern, FLIR pointing etc.) zdjecie glass z profilem

• Safe in all weather condition

• Great visibility from cabin and cockpit (bubble windows)

• Extremly STOL capability allows operation from very short runways (i.e. small islands)

SUMMARY - DISADVANTAGES (IF ANY)

- Not presurrized cabin (from experience typical mission

altitude is 1500-3000ft., quick raft dropping)

- Fixed landing gear may potential cause reflection of search

radar (but currently software corrected with slightly lower

range, but allows landnig on unpaved runways).

- Retracted gear may extend range but reduce payload and

limit unpaved ranways landing.
