direction of a state-certified police academy commander

What we expect from you• Valid driver’s license• Good moral character• Be 21 years old by completion• Be free of any felony or domestic violence
conviction• Be able to pass mandatory drug testing• 100% attendance for all OPOTA topics
What you will need to enroll• Call the Academy commander• High school diploma or GED
(GED Hotline 513.612.5806)• Achieve a Work Keys assessment of 4 or higher
in Applied Math and Locating Information, and at least 5 in Reading for Information.
• Have a physical performed by a physician, certified nurse practitioner, or physician assistant that states you can perform strenuous physical activity.
• Pass a physical conditioning assessment for sit-ups, push-ups, and 1.5 mile run.
