QMS STUDENTS ARE PREPARED FOR A LIFETIME OF LEARNING

Queen Margaret’s School graduates approach life after high school with confidence.

It takes more than outstanding academic instruction to prepare young women for post-secondary education and professional success. Experiences at Queen Margaret’s School provide the balanced resume that universities and colleges look for: community service, global studies, public speaking, visual and performing arts, and athletics.

QMS structures its school day to inspire the way girls learn. It encourages young women to challenge themselves in a safe learning environment, and to consider a broader range of career opportunities. As a result, our students finish Grade 12 with more mathematics and science courses, and with higher marks than average.

Our graduates apply and are accepted to their choice of the finest universities and colleges in North America and abroad. Each student is given guidance through the university entrance and scholarship application process, plus SAT, TOEFL and/or IELTS preparation, if required.

In an environment where there are no barriers to learning, more of our graduates enter disciplines such as engineering, technology, medicine and veterinary science.

With life skills such as leadership, independence, financial literacy, critical thinking and the ability to clearly express their ideas, our students are prepared to take on future challenges and are poised for success.
