Reason for Fame Pocahontas wanted to make peace with

the settlers Brought them food Pocahontas and Captain Smith became

friends She was kidnapped when she was 18

and taken to Jamestown They kept her for one year

Adulthood

She married John Rolfe in 1614 in Jamestown. They had a son named Thomas Travelled to England in 1616 She got sick and died in England in 1617 She was only 21 years old.
