Use the following list of materials as your guide of what to bring: My basic landscaping palette consists of:- Titanium White- Cadmium Yellow. Note: Do not use a Hue- Cadmium Red. Do not use a Hue- Cerulean Blue. Do not use a Hue- French Ultramarine- Burnt Sienna- Raw Umber- Ivory Black TIP: Burnt sienna acrylic paint can be used as an under-paint over your gessoed painting board. My preference is to use either Winsor and Newton, or Michael Harding oil colours, and I prefer to use Neef synthetic brushes, with a few hog hair brushes for blocking in. I often paint on a small masonite board, or a canvas board coated with gesso. The small size allows me to paint quickly and surely in conditions that are often rapidly changing. I would suggest you use a canvas or board of no more than 8"x10" in size. I suggest you bring a wooden palette, a portable easel, and of course any medium that you would care to use. You should also bring any solvents or other cleaning products you require. You will be responsible for the disposal of used rags etc. at the end of the session. I work in oils, and whilst you are welcome to bring along any medium you care to, the emphasis of my teaching will be firmly upon tonal oil painting. OH&S General requirements: Broad brimmed hat; Long sleeved shirt; 50+ Sun screen; Plenty of drinking water. OH&S Painting materials: If you have a sensitivity to solvents, linseed oil can be used instead of odourless solvent or gum turpentine. Some of the oil paints used contain toxic elements. You might wish to use latex gloves when you paint and clean up, if this is of concern to you.

Additionally, if you have it, bring along: - Pthalo/Windsor Green- Alizarin crimson- Viridian - Burnt Umber- Yellow Ochre- Lemon yellow
