“An experience that any Teke must

undergo at some point in their colle-

giate career. It reaffirmed that this

really is a Fraternity for life, and we

are Better Men for a Better World.”-

Zach Dale, Epiprytanis

RLC was great. Seeing Fraters, espe-

cially those I went to high school with,

was a surreal experience. I brought

back tons of new things to help the

chapter grow and prosper”

-Brett Sutterley, Public Relations Chair

“RLC was a great experience, it was

really neat to meet Teke’s from

around the region. The seminars were

really helpful and gave us some great

ideas for Philanthropies and other

events.” -Jose Aguimatang, Philantrophy

Chair

“I grew and learned so much from

RLC’s. It was a great time and I took

away lessons and memories that will

last a lifetime” -Eric Stanley, Pylortes

RLC’s was a great experience. I

learned a lot that I intend on bringing

back to the chapter. I also enjoyed

seeing how our brotherhood is so di-

verse yet we all share the common

values of TKE.” -Matt Mitchell, Bylaws

Chair

Hello my name is Cody Lanman, the new Prytanis of the Mu Omega Chapter.

I wanted to introduce myself. I was born in the middle of nowhere, Grand Forks

North Dakota. I am the second of five children. My father is a colonel in the Air

Force and is retiring this June after thirty years. My mother is a stay at home mom

enjoying her last year of having kids at home, next year my triplet younger siblings

all go off to college. My major is Civil Engineering, with no minor at the moment,

currently I am looking at Business or Chinese. I work in the Civil Engineering and

facilities department of the University. Beside Tau Kappa Epsilon, I play Rugby

for George Mason, and I am a member of American Society of Civil Engineers. I

pledged fall of 2010 (Gamma Iota). Scroll number 795. Tau Kappa Epsilon has

made a huge impact in my life. I came to college as an awkward chubby, unconfi-

dent boy and now I am a confident, slightly less chubby man. Three years ago I

never would have thought I would be president of anything let alone an organiza-

tion as awesome as this. We as a chapter have improved immensely in the past

couple of years, and even more so in the past year thanks to Mitch Gillman, with-

out him I probably would be incredibly lost. I am very excited for this next year

we are making great progress improving in all aspects such as Brotherhood, Aca-

demics, and Membership (The scroll is up to 840!). Any advice or suggestions

would be greatly appreciated, either things you all think would help myself or the

chapter or even things you would like to see the chapter do. My email is tekepresi-

[email protected] please anytime shoot me a message.

I look forward to potentially meeting some of you sometime in the near future.

Yours in the Bond,

Cody Lanman
