Please Note:• The Year 7 Outdoor Education Experience is

compulsory for all year 7 students(if a student cannot attend for a medical reason, a medical certificate must be submitted to the school for the 2 days)

• Emergency contact number: 0409 422 166(only use the emergency contact number if you have to - e.g. family emergency)

• Outdoor Education staff will contact you if there is an issue on camp

Clothing and Equipment• A list of what clothing and equipment to bring is

in the camp booklet • Advise not to buy any new gear for their

son/daughter • Old clothes are usually best for being in the

outdoors. • PE shoes only – good support• No denim clothing, singlets or thongs• Sun smart school: A hat is compulsory

Bags & Sleeping Bag• All gear should be packed into a medium sized

sports bag

• Students must also bring a day pack for activities. It should have 2 shoulder straps

• A sleeping bag is required

• Ensure all clothing and equipment is labelled with your son’s/daughter’s name

• satisfactorily complete the majority of their subjects (i.e. Ns in no more than 2 subjects)

• satisfactorily complete Religious Education

• attend at least 90% of class time

• 70% attendance of scheduled classes

Students who don’t meet attendance requirements receive an overall not satisfactory (‘N’) for the subject
