POF’sFOUNDER
R omeo Pellum was talking to his un-cle, an FBS collegiate coach, about creating a more in depth high school football camp that did not only focus on skill and technique but also edu-cate the athletes on the importance
of academics and athletics. With the new changes to the NCAA Compliance rules, his uncle felt the timing was perfect to provide a camp allowing collegiate coaches to be hands-on teaching the fundamental skills of football. With that in mind, Pellum came up with the idea of Play-ers of the Future (POF).
O ur mission and goal is to provide athletes with the opportunity to be educated by multiple colleg-es at every level of play at the same time. It is also very benefi-cial for the coaches, they will get
the opportunity to be hands on with high school pros-pects and be able to educate some of the top talent on the West Coast. There are many athletes who are over-looked, who dream of the opportunity to showcase their skills and better their future. By providing the platform and the coaches from universities where the majority of high school prospects would like to gain their education and the chance to play, we are able to provide them that opportunity.
