DESCRIPTION

Cast stone wall plaques can enhance an existing wall or be built into a new wall. Wall plaques are available in the traditional Haddonstone cast stone material as well as TecLite material. TecLite plaques can be hung like a piece of art to an existing wall.

Tradescant Wall Plaque Q660

Based on an XVII century plaque displayed at the Museum of Garden History. Recarved to depict John Tradescant (1608-1662), gardener to Charles II and famous for bringing numerous plant species to England, including many from America. Up to two letters or numerals may be cast into the stone either side of the figure (i.e. four in total).

The charming Seasons Plaques depict putti with their seasonal attributes: garlands of flowers; sheaves of corn; cornucopia of fruit; and, fire and ice. These are faithful reproductions taken from original designs created by the renowned Coade manufactory.

Capturing the majesty of the renowned Parthenon Frieze, this pair of designs is replicated from original carvings which date from c443-438 BC. The originals depict the Panathenaic Procession. These horsemen are from the north frieze. Available individually or as a pair. All dimensions are approximate owing to the shape of the originals. Will require mechanical fixing in most instances.
