On Friday, March 27, 2020, WinSport will host the inaugural Plants, Pinot & Potions competition. Showcasing talented chefs, wine merchants and mixologists, more than 300 guests will have the opportunity to sample creative vegetable and vegan dishes (plants), paired with varieties of wine (pinot) and cocktails (potions). Chefs will showcase their culinary creativity & genius; all vying for the title of “Best in Taste” trophy. The result is a flavourful and fun-filled evening that will impress even the most skeptical carnivore’s palate. A panel of distinguished judges will cast their vote to the winning chef (team).

This event was created out of the desire to raise awareness of the beauty of vegan and vegetarian cuisine, while high-lighting the creative culinary teams behind the flavours that pair magically with pinot and cocktails.

Proceeds from this delicious event will benefit the Starlight Children’s Foundation. The foundation does what medicine can’t do: create priceless smiles and memories for seriously ill children and their families. For more than 30 years, Starlight Canada has been spreading joy to sick kids across the country through a unique blend of hospital to home programs designed for the entire family.
